You might be thinking that of all the investors meeting that you went to, nothing seems to be able to capture the attention of the investors. Even the angel investors that you were hoping that will be able to give you a helping hand to angel your idea into the market seems to lose interest as you speak on.

Actually nothing gets more exciting than a business that is making money. Angel investors are tuned towards a money making business. Business to them, are no more than commodities, perhaps there are the ones that see certain futuristic values that they invest in the dream and hope of the founders, but at the end of the day, its all about the money.

Investors want to incubate, grow, then one day, be able to sell your business and get a return of their money and help you get your business the value that its worth.

If that is not where your company is deciding to move towards to, then getting to the investors might not be such a good idea after all.

I always teach my people to find the ones that would accept your answers rather than to persuade the ones to accept your ideas.

Its easier that way,.. but who are these people?

selling to customers

These are the ones that require your products or service. They are your CUSTOMERS.

If you are the cobbler, they are the ones who require shoes repaired.

If you are the bank, they are the ones that require loans.

If you are restaurant, they are the hungry ones that require feeding.

Specify your markets and tune your marketing towards those targetted “investors” and see yourself manuvuer yourself out of a need for an investor’s funds.

Your customers and clients are going to be your greatest platform into your market so start identifying them and think of ways to attract them and keep them.
