Managing your own on-site SEO can be a real hassle but if you do it correctly, you might be on your way to some great indexing by Search Engines. Most sites do not have huge number of backlinks, because they are not easily done. Quality backlinks can be hard to form. It takes time unless you engage a real SEO Marketing Agency to handle your online PR for you. Even so, many reputable SEO agencies outsource their jobs to SEO experts that spam backlinks using black hat techniques that can impact your site in many negative ways. Such SEO techniques might work in the short term but in the long run, these sites that provide poor content or have not much value in then can easily get blacklisted once found out. The only reason why they are still at the top is because they have not been discovered by the quality control teams working on billions of pages every single day.

SEO is not guaranteed and Google Algorithm is changing almost every single day. The only way to getting great indexing results from reputable search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo is to create quality content and letting these search engines know your site is worth them noticing.

  3. Mobile Optimization.
    1. Make sure your site is mobile optimized.
    2. Google and Search Engines focus alot on user experience.
    3. Having a site that is not mobile optimized can result in low user-end experience, increased bounce rate and significantly lower indexing rankings.
  4. Site Architecture
    1. Keep your site architecture properly linked
    2. This will enable crawlers to find different pages and link smoothly the pages of your website.
    3. A good internally linked site will create more leads to your website.
  5. Keep contents filled. 
    1. A page without much contents is basically poor in the eyes of search engines.
    2. If your page is a login page or some app that doesn’t fit large packs of words, link it to a page that tells user more.
    3. Provide title and alt descriptions for image tags <img>.
  6.  Make sure keywords are placed in title, meta, descriptions. 
    1. There is no standard definition to keyword spamming.
    2. You are considered spamming if you have a content with different keywords separated by commas or slashes that provide no value to the user.
    3. Too many keywords also keep your article in suspicions.
    4. Keep keywords repetitive to a maximum of 3-4 times depending on the length of the article.
    5. Your keywords must have more weight than other words. Wrongly focused keywords can result in poor placement in irrelevant search results.
  7. Keep title concise and content focus
    1. The words in your title will weigh more when you keep it short and concise.
    2. Try to limit words like: “and”,”or”, “,”,”/”. These can lower keyword priority in your content.
  8. Ping new content
    1. Keep search engines notified of new pages and content to your site.
    2. It helps to index dates to your post in search results. This also help to keep your site consistently relevant compared to a site that has been abandoned for a long time.
  9. Social Backlinks
    1. The best way to receive traffic is still to share your content and stories on facebook, twitter, google+ and other search engine portals.
    2. Not to forget social portals is also a great way to receive traffic and increased quality traffic leads to higher rankings.
    3. Keeping a blog and writing a great copywriting article can also be another great way to engage users. Treat it as an extension to marketing your products and services.
  10. Relevant pictures and images
    1. Having great pics will not only keep your users but also keep bounce rate low.
    2. Many searches results from searches for images also.
    3. Add title and alt attributes to your image tags.
